The Porthcawl maritime centre is becoming more of a reality with a public consultation exhibition taking place and a feasibility study commissioned. A more detailed brief for the scheme's branding was developed and Direction Design produced a range of ideas to fit the brief for the building to be known as 'Harbourside'. The chosen design concept was developed further to produce the final logo which is being used on exhibition and presentation material and even on a proposed, back-lit stained glass window for the north-side of the new building.

A Maritime Centre is being planned for Porthcawl and the architect has asked Direction Design to suggest initial branding ideas for use during the development and initial planning process. Email marketing has become an important tool for many companies. For one of our clients, Marine Scene, sales through their on-line store is a major component of their business. Direction Design has been asked to update the presentation and content of their weekly offers newsletter. The image shows a typical layout promoting, in this case, a range of Musto clothing and accessories designed to coincide with the 2012 Olympics in London.
